Weekend Rambling

  We had a very busy weekend. my little birdie has been recovering from her sickness and finally feeling better.  She felt well enough to go to a horse show.  Her first one in months she is just a beginner but her confidence is building every time she rides. We are so proud of her. Her is a peek at a video of her riding in her show and me walking with her.

I also went I had a nice run going but knocked my second barrel. There is always next time.

  So we had a busy yet fun weekend. Know its back to the weekly grind summer is almost over and we have so much left we want to do together. We just need to find the time to fit it all in, Hoping we will. Till later.

The Sick Train

     So I have been absent. Not wanting to be but the sick train has hit our home.  It started last Friday with my son high fever and sore throat. He was bitten by the Strep bug. Blah A couple sleepless nights for mom. His fever was out of control. Just when things get back to normal my daughter gets it and back to the doc.  Hers was worse and we are just starting to feel a little better and should be all better by Monday or it is back we go. Hoping this is where it ends and does not go through me and the hubby.  Have a lot to blog about. Last week we went to Field Station Dinosaur with the kids. Have a post coming about it.  Just wanted to check in while my munchkin is asleep.  Will hopefully be back with some posts tomorrow.

Back on the Wagon

 



 So I have decided to go for this again lol.  Things here have been very crazy. Summer is in full swing and the days are going by so fast. We have so many new things going on. We have gotten a horse and getting back into riding.  Here is a picture of our new family member Desi Lou.

 We love her to death and she is very spoiled. The kids have been doing a lot of swimming and just plain old playing. They even entered a horse show and both got a cute prize. Here are my two cowpokes.

School is coming fast and we still have so much we want to do. Camping, Fishing, Crabbing, and going to the beach. Let alone trying to get all our back to school stuff completed. I am still crocheting and plan on going to a craft fair to sell some of my stuff to make some extra money. Here is one of my latest projects.

I love these angel blankets they look so beautiful and can work up fast. I decided I am going to participate in the link ups that I did before such as Menu Plan Monday ,
Work in Progress Wednesday   and hopefully a few more to keep on a blogging roll. So much has happened since I last wrote the Bird has turned 8 and the Bean 6.  it seems like when it comes to them time is flying by and I want to slow it down. But I will talk more about this in my next post. its great to be back and hopefully I can find the time to stick with it. Till next post.

A Crazy Week

 
   I have been MIA this week.  It has been a little crazy. The bean had a double ear infection and the bird still has a cold. The days just got away from me and I did not get in any of the posts that I wanted to.  Now that things are getting back to normal I will be able to get in my regular posts.  The weekend is upon us and even though it is a little late. We are going to finish taking down our Christmas tree. The kids still wanted it up and with them being sick I gave it another week. 

  I am really hoping for a nice weekend so that we can get a lot of stuff done. We unfortunately had gotten a leak on our camper roof nothing to bad it just happened.  But needs to be fixed asap so there is not any damage.  Plus we have just the usual cleaning and trying to get organized.  I am hoping by the end of January I will have most of what I want organized done. Well just wanted to stop in and give a little update. Till tomorrow with a weekend post.

Still Alive

  It has been way to long since I have posted. You may think I fell off the face of the earth. But I am here and promise to get my stuff together and be a better blogger. So much has happened since I have last posted.  Life here has been good and crazy busy. We are getting our yard ready for the spring with a ton of projects.  Trying to spring clean the house and get everything in order. On the bad side of things the transmission went in our suburban, so life is full of major stress. I know we will get through it and it is just a bump in the road. Although it is one of the worst bumps we have had in a while. Life will go on :)

The Weekend

 We had a busy weekend in our house. This weekend was my mom's surprise 50th birthday party.

 A good time was had by all and my mom was very surprised.  I was so glad everything went off with out a hitch. After all of the running around on Friday and Saturday, Sunday was a day to relax we went to my moms for leftovers and just hung out the rest of the day. Ttomorrow will be filled with cleaning and getting back on track.  I am still working on the birds blanket, I am hoping to have it done by next weekend if I can really put some time in on it.  Hopefully we will be having a snow day on Tuesday and then I can really get some work done.  Well I am off to work on my menu plan for the week. Hope everyone had an eventful weekend. 

Just Rambling

I am not really sure what to blog about so I am going to kind of just ramble.  So today this is what we woke up to

Ahh the snow my Bird was excited for a snow day.  She even wore her pj's inside out last night so it would snow.  She is to cute :). The kids can't wait to build a snowman and go sledding.  We are going to clean out the birds closet today and bake some brownies per the kiddies request.  I need to try and finish a scarf set I am crocheting and start on the birds ripple blanket. There is also a great deal on free prescription eyeglasses at coastal contacts. Free glasses just pay the shipping so I will be ordering those for my dad. I made Marlboro Mans Favorite Sandwich it kicked butt. Everyone loved it even the Bird and the Bean I have to say Ree has some awesome recipes. If you get a chance head over there and check them out you won't be disappointed.  Well I the kids are ready to go play in the snow so I better get bundled.
