Weekend Rambling

  We had a very busy weekend. my little birdie has been recovering from her sickness and finally feeling better.  She felt well enough to go to a horse show.  Her first one in months she is just a beginner but her confidence is building every time she rides. We are so proud of her. Her is a peek at a video of her riding in her show and me walking with her.

I also went I had a nice run going but knocked my second barrel. There is always next time.

  So we had a busy yet fun weekend. Know its back to the weekly grind summer is almost over and we have so much left we want to do together. We just need to find the time to fit it all in, Hoping we will. Till later.

The Sick Train

     So I have been absent. Not wanting to be but the sick train has hit our home.  It started last Friday with my son high fever and sore throat. He was bitten by the Strep bug. Blah A couple sleepless nights for mom. His fever was out of control. Just when things get back to normal my daughter gets it and back to the doc.  Hers was worse and we are just starting to feel a little better and should be all better by Monday or it is back we go. Hoping this is where it ends and does not go through me and the hubby.  Have a lot to blog about. Last week we went to Field Station Dinosaur with the kids. Have a post coming about it.  Just wanted to check in while my munchkin is asleep.  Will hopefully be back with some posts tomorrow.

Menu Plan Monday week August 12

 So I am back on the Menu Plan Monday bandwagon over at I'm an Organizing Junkie.  I really needed to get back on track with the menu planning.  I've not been doing well and joining this helps me keep on tack.  So here it goes for my first week back.

  So that is my menu plan for this week.  Nothing crazy just some simple meals.  We have a lot going on with getting ready for school. Supply shopping and trying to get our house organized and ready for the new school year.  Things are going fast and we need to get on the ball.  Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Family Camping trip

  So I know I said that I was back. But I had to take a short brake we were on vacation. We took a family camping trip and had such a great time.  The kids love camping what more fun can you have as a little kid.

  They went canoeing, rode bikes, fished , made smores, and  played with kids.  Here are a couple pictures from our trip. I can not wait till we go again.

Back on the Wagon

 



 So I have decided to go for this again lol.  Things here have been very crazy. Summer is in full swing and the days are going by so fast. We have so many new things going on. We have gotten a horse and getting back into riding.  Here is a picture of our new family member Desi Lou.

 We love her to death and she is very spoiled. The kids have been doing a lot of swimming and just plain old playing. They even entered a horse show and both got a cute prize. Here are my two cowpokes.

School is coming fast and we still have so much we want to do. Camping, Fishing, Crabbing, and going to the beach. Let alone trying to get all our back to school stuff completed. I am still crocheting and plan on going to a craft fair to sell some of my stuff to make some extra money. Here is one of my latest projects.

I love these angel blankets they look so beautiful and can work up fast. I decided I am going to participate in the link ups that I did before such as Menu Plan Monday ,
Work in Progress Wednesday   and hopefully a few more to keep on a blogging roll. So much has happened since I last wrote the Bird has turned 8 and the Bean 6.  it seems like when it comes to them time is flying by and I want to slow it down. But I will talk more about this in my next post. its great to be back and hopefully I can find the time to stick with it. Till next post.
